God’s Simple Plan of Salvation

God loves you – God loves people.  He loves you regardless of your gender, regardless of your past, regardless of your culture.  God loves all people.

But we disobey God.  We run from God.  We avoid God.  We choose not to obey his word.  This is called sin.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. –Romans 3:23

God hates sin.  Sin separates us from God.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. –Romans 6:23

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. –Romans 5:8

Jesus Christ died for sinners… He died for me, He died for you, He died for all people.  He paid the penalty for our sin.  This is the only way that we can go to heaven.

If you recognize that you are a sinner, and that only Jesus Christ can save you, and that He has saved you by His crucifixion and death on the cross, and was raised from death, and now sits at God’s right hand in heaven, then you will be saved.
